The host family is a stunner, absolutely authentic, Saxon and very close to the Ore Mountains and the local mining industry. An insider tip if you are looking for very good food paired with genuine hospitality.

If you like good home-style food and friendly service, you will definitely not go wrong here. The food is very tasty and is always freshly prepared. The staff understands their job and is always friendly and always tries to respond to special requests without being polite. Without exaggerating, the prices for food and drinks are very cheap and hard to beat. Where can you get a full serving of around € 10? "On the Autobahn" you now pay for a bockwurst and a coffee! I have to ask myself how this can be calculated? Only two answers come to mind - either the good people there are all already millionaires and make it a pastime - or there is an infinite amount of passion in the company, where satisfied guests are valued higher than larger sales. It should also be mentioned here that the lovingly designed interior and exterior decoration - especially for Christmas or Easter. A 08/15 Christmas tree, often decorated using the "quick process", that stands luckily and crookedly in a corner ... maybe somewhere else - but not at Meilings in Oberhermsdorf. Here, the established family company does not have to hide from a Hilton or a Steigenberger. The "big houses" are indisputably optically a show - but often we only had to experience "mass processing" and far too much routine there! One at the end, for the "notorious grumblers" and envious - if I want to find the "hair in the soup" somewhere, then certainly also in Meiling's "Glück-Auf" restaurant in Oberhermsdorf - but, first of all, do it yourself - only it doing better ... is going to be damn hard here! Family Meiling & Team - from us THANKS & great respect, just keep it up !!! And (!!!) nobody asked me to write "positive lines" here ...
